Phil joined Nadler Financial Group in 2017. Prior to that, Phil spent over a decade at Ernst & Young, most recently as a Senior Manager in Tax Services, specializing in corporate tax planning and financial statement preparation, audit, and reporting for large, multinational companies. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Illinois and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner authorized by the CFP Board of Standards. He has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations from the American College of Financial Services and possesses the Personal Financial Specialist (PFSTM) credential issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. These certifications are awarded to those individuals who have met rigorous education, experience, ethical, and examination requirements and who can offer expert advice on a broad range of financial topics including financial planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, income taxation, life and health insurance, business taxation and planning, investments, and retirement and employee benefits planning. Phil graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a master’s degree in accountancy with specialization in taxation along with bachelor’s degrees in both accountancy and finance. He received his professional education in financial planning from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business in Athens, Georgia. Outside of work, Phil spends as much time as possible with his three children. He is an avid sports fan (Blackhawks, White Sox, Bears, Georgia Bulldogs) and enjoys traveling with his family.
