Sherene Meier CPA

Lead Associate Wealth Manager

Sherene Meier built her career as a CPA advising high net worth individuals and families on complex tax, estate, and financial matters. Over time, conversations naturally expanded beyond accounting and taxes. The opportunity to build deeper relationships and help clients proactively navigate all aspects of their financial lives ultimately led her to wealth management and to Nadler Financial Group.

Before joining Nadler Financial Group, Sherene held senior positions at large and boutique CPA firms. She concentrated on federal and multi-state tax and estate planning for individuals and families and worked closely with business owners and executives on audit and retirement plan matters. Throughout her career, she became known not only for her technical expertise, but also for her ability to connect with her clients and explain complex concepts in a way her clients could understand.

At Nadler Financial Group, Sherene helps clients navigate the financial decisions that come with life’s transitions and milestones. From helping them evaluate questions such as when they can retire and how much they can spend, to planning for future college expenses, and developing investment and tax strategies, she works with clients to create plans that are thoughtful, realistic and aligned with their goals. Her extensive experience as a CPA gives her a unique perspective on the connection between tax planning and wealth management. She enjoys helping clients connect the dots across all aspects of their financial plan and investment portfolio. As a member of the firm’s Financial Planning Committee, Sherene helps research complex planning topics and emerging strategies, sharing insights with the broader advisory team to help ensure clients receive informed and up-to-date guidance.
Sherene holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the Illinois CPA Society. She is currently pursuing securities licensing.

Outside of work, Sherene enjoys reading, journaling, baking and staying active through running, strength training, and pickleball. She is also a long-time dog lover and enjoys long walks with her two dogs, Benny and Baxter. She and her husband can often be found reliving their younger days at their four children’s colleges, taking in as many sporting events as the weekends allow. She hopes to travel beyond college towns in the not-so-distant future.
