Samuel Velblum
Samuel Velblum came to financial planning through a path that started with a genuine curiosity about markets. He developed a strong interest in investing and trading at a young age, and that interest grew into something more purposeful when he noticed a consistent gap: the fundamentals of investing and financial literacy were rarely taught as part of a general education - and he believed they should be. That conviction, combining a love of finance with a desire to educate and inform, is what drew him to wealth management and continues to shape how he approaches his work.
Before joining Nadler Financial Group, Samuel gained experience completing internships internationally. Those experiences gave him exposure to venture-stage investment analysis and the emerging financial technology landscape - a perspective that informs how he thinks about markets and investment opportunities today.
At Nadler Financial Group, Samuel supports the wealth management team by creating investment proposals, running financial projections, preparing reports and meeting materials, conducting research, and handling the account opening and transfer work that keeps client relationships running smoothly. He holds his Series 7 license and is actively pursuing designations, with plans to pursue the CFA charter thereafter.
Samuel graduated from DePaul University in 2023 with a degree in Finance, earning Dean’s List recognition all four years, a Presidential Scholarship and Grant, and multiple Honor Society recommendations.
Outside of work, Samuel plays basketball, stays active in the gym, follows the markets in his own time, and is a dedicated film buff with a genuine love of movies.
