Rebecca Raff CFP®
Rebecca Raff has been an integral member of Nadler Financial Group since joining the team in 2011. Her role as Shareholder and Managing Director involves overseeing the client-facing team, serving as a direct supervisor and mentor for her direct reports, and sitting on the Management Committee and multiple internal teams. She also carries her own book of clients - meeting with them regularly, staying proactively in touch, and doing what she genuinely loves: solving financial planning puzzles.
Rebecca, who holds a CFP® designation, has developed a deep specialization in charitable planning, and built a reputation inside and outside the firm as someone who can make the genuinely complex feel completely manageable. She has a particular gift for working with clients navigating complex or emotionally charged situations: women who have recently lost a spouse through death or divorce; self-employed individuals with layered retirement plans; and clients with strong charitable intentions who want to give in a more tax-advantaged way. Rebecca has spoken at conferences for financial advisors on charitable planning and enjoys educating clients on strategies like Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), gifting appreciated stock, and qualified charitable distributions (QCDs).
Before joining NFG, Rebecca worked at PEAK6 Investments in Chicago, where she trained as an equity options trader at the Chicago Board of Trade before transitioning into an Investor Relations role for the PEAK6 Hedge Fund. That background - quantitative, fast-moving, high-stakes - gave her an analytical foundation that shows up every day in how she approaches a financial plan.
Her approach to the work is best captured in something she says herself: she can dig in and truly understand how the watch works, but what she’s really focused on is making sure her clients know what time it is. The sigh of relief that comes when someone finally feels like they understand their financial picture and has the right person in their corner - that’s what she’s after.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Outside of work, Rebecca loves spending time with her husband Michael and their two daughters. She sits on the board of Israel Cancer Research Fund, enjoys playing pickleball and Mah Jongg, and enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors!
