Katie Krase joined Nadler Financial Group in 2005 as the receptionist. Twenty-two years later, she is a Shareholder - and in between, she has held nearly every position the firm has to offer. That journey is not incidental to who she is at NFG. It is the whole point.

Because Katie has sat in so many seats, she understands how the firm works from the inside out. She knows its history, its rhythms, its clients, and its people in a way that no job description can fully capture. She serves as the firm’s institutional memory - the bridge between how things have been done and how they are going to be done - and that perspective makes her indispensable when the firm is navigating change, solving complex problems, or building new processes that hold up over time.

Today, Katie leads compliance and systems for the firm, ensuring that every regulatory requirement is met and that the team operates as a true fiduciary to its clients. She trains and monitors team members on current regulations, conducts data auditing and billing, assists the firm’s President with several long-standing and complex client relationships, and participates on the Steering Committee, helping to set priorities for firm-wide initiatives. She also serves on the compliance, technology and data, client service, and qualified retirement plans committees.

What drives her is equal parts love of the work and love of the people. She is, by her own description, someone who genuinely enjoys spreadsheets - numbers and data are where she is most at home. But she is equally motivated by the relationships she has built over more than two decades with clients who have reached the goals they set out to achieve, and a team she genuinely enjoys showing up for every day.

Before joining NFG, Katie worked in the insurance claims department at Country Companies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Accounting from Illinois State University and is securities licensed with Series 6, 63, and 65.

Outside of work, Katie is a devoted music lover across every genre - hip-hop, reggae, rock, country, all of it. She hunts down vinyl records at local record stores and antique malls, attends concerts and festivals with friends, and earlier in her career spent time as a late-night DJ for a well-known radio station in central Illinois. She also loves a good thriller or mystery novel, enjoys junk journaling and paper crafting, and spends summer days in the pool soaking up sunshine. She lives with her husband Ed and their three dachshunds - Dexter, Leroy, and Duddy.
