Phil Sloan

Phil Sloan CPA, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, PFS™

Shareholder & Senior Wealth Manager

Phil Sloan spent a decade at Ernst & Young before making the move to wealth management at EY. Phil served most recently as a Senior Manager in Global Compliance and Reporting, working on corporate tax planning, financial statement preparation, tax compliance, audit, and reporting for large multinational companies.  When he made the transition to financial planning, he didn’t leave the knowledge gained from his experience in public accounting behind - he brought it directly to bear on behalf of individual clients and families.

As a Shareholder and Senior Wealth Manager at Nadler Financial Group, Phil interacts and meets regularly with clients to review their financial situations, answer their questions, manage their investment portfolios, and produce the kind of detailed financial projections that help people see around corners and plan for what’s ahead. He also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee, helps coach and develop junior members of the team, and stays current on the legislative developments and regulatory changes that affect the people with whom he works.

What motivates Phil is straightforward: it has never been harder for Americans to buy a home, provide for their family, and retire on their own terms. Having a thoughtful, well-informed advisor in your corner who listens to your objectives makes a real difference - and Phil takes that responsibility seriously. He is known for being a steady, calming presence during periods of market volatility or economic uncertainty; the kind of advisor clients call when they’re worried and leave the conversation feeling reassured.

Phil holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Science in Accountancy with a Specialization in Taxation from the University of Illinois, and a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. He holds five professional designations: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™).

Outside of work, Phil coaches his kids’ little league baseball team and enjoys traveling - both abroad and on domestic road trips to national parks with his kids. He is an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks, and follows Georgia Bulldogs football with equal devotion.
